A few words from Fr. Dennis:

St. Stephen’s carries out the work of the Christ in the world as we have been commanded to do.  Through Sacrament and Service we are addressing the needs of our neighborhood and its residents both housed and un-housed.  This is sacred and holy work and we are privileged to meet our neighbors in the midst of their need.  Through the work of Clay Street Table (our “outreach” ministry) it is estimated that we will distribute over 150,000 meals this year in cooperation with our partner non-profit ministries and the Oregon Food Bank.
This work requires resources both volunteer and financial.  Our small parish (some 50+ members) is faithful in its stewardship; however our financial resources are far outstripped by the on-going needs.  Should you find it within your heart to assist in this work we would be deeply grateful.  Your prayers are ALWAYS needed; and if you can share the blessings financially by clicking the “DONATE” button your gift will be acknowledged by our grateful community for tax purposes.  Donations can be directed to our outreach ministries or our faith community as both are 501(C)3 for donation purposes by the IRS.

May God bless you for your generosity!
Fr. Dennis J. Parker
